The environment design is well done and I like the subtle location based narrative with the dried up sea bed, boats etc. The track design is also well thought about by blocking the players route if they try and go backwards. The obstacles are fun but not very challenging to avoid. The handling of the car is very satisfying. One issue I did encounter was that the car didn't have much mass, so being in the air meant that it would still have forward movement applied by the script with little mass so it would essentially float. Overall I like this game alot, it is visually more interesting than an average racing game.
I enjoyed this game but not for the reason you were probably expected.
What I like about the game was: The design of the map was really cool, I liked the design of the car aswell as it reminds me of a car that has been through the works.
What I personally didn't like about the game: when I tried to drive my car around a curve I then hit a fence but I went straight through the fence and fell through the map. my main problem with the game but admittedly where I had the most fun was with my car flying around when the car left the ground, at first it was fun and allowed me to explore more of the map, but when I this hapened more times it started to make the game unenjoyable and made the game difficult to complete a single lap.
But other than these two main problems I thought the game was a cool idea and concept but just needs to be more polished to be a great game.
This is a good start, I really like the style of the game, the mist gives the level a creepy vibe and the objects in the road fit the theme of the game, I like the mountains and buildings in the game as they give the level a more interesting look. I did have a few problems with the game like the car flipping which was pretty annoying because I was not able to finish the track quickly as I would have to reset the car which added more seconds onto my time as I had to go back to the start, you should try and fix this problem because I was not able to get a good look at your level design. As the game is called End Days, I assume it has something to do with an apocalypse so adding some more darker lighting or a different skybox would give the game more of an apocalypse feel. Overall, I think this is a good game with an interesting and unique level design but the car flipping problem should be fixed for more fun and enjoyable gameplay.
