great game, i love the level design, textures are good and the jumpscare is well executed. brilliant atmosphere and the low visibility really adds to the immersion of the scene. everything feels like it fits there and thats great. my only issue is that i wasnt sure of what to do really, i only encountered the ghost once and wasnt sure what to do. im really looking forward to how this game progresses!
A really good horror game. The environment design suits the theme well with the visual effects with the low visibility. The jump scare was pretty good and unexpected. I found telling the narrative through the object popups very interesting also. I did sometimes get lost in the level, maybe use subtle prompts to the player using lighting or clear objects that can be seen in low visibility. Overall a very good game Im excited to see what the finished product is like.
I really enjoyed this game and the concept of it but i had one main problem with the game.
What I liked about the game was the lighting that the flashlight provided when walking around, I felt that when I walked into a room with the head I personally thought the lighting was great to add tension to the game. when I entered the game you can sense a disturbance and as I went through the game I encounted a body hanging, the jumpscare and the main ghost at the end, This gave me the Impression that the man hanging was also the ghost that was roaming this abandoned building, I liked the music choice for this game as it mader the game unnerving to play but i did feel that the music was very loud to contrast to the game itself.
What I didn't like about the game, my main problem that i had with this game was that there wasn't a end screen when i got to the end of the level where the ghost was, with the fact that there was a jumpscare i was expecting one more for when i encountered the ghost but this didn't happen.
Other than that I really liked the game and thought it was a nice 5 minutes of unnerving gameplay.
This is a brilliant start, I really like the level design, I found it to be creepy and work with the style of game you are making. The music set a great tone for the atmosphere and left me immersed in the game. The ghost was a cool touch as it made the title of the game make sense. However, I did find a few problems with the game also, one of these being, I kept falling through the floor and had to press the jump button to keep on the ground, another being the torch didn't follow the camera so I was left not being able to see much and there was not that many inspection points in the game (going up to an object and seeing the title and description) which I would have liked to have seen more of. Other than that, this is a good game with an interesting level.
